In Simcenter STAR-CCM+ you can create a Mesh Scene to visually evaluate the quality of your mesh. This way you're able to view the mesh grid lines.
In Simcenter STAR-CCM+ you can create a Mesh Scene to visually evaluate the quality of your mesh. To create a new mesh scene, right-click the Scenes node and select New Scene > Mesh from the pop-up menu.
A new mesh scene is created and becomes active in the graphics window.
By default, a mesh scene includes:
A geometry displayer, that shows the surface of the selected parts and is preset to display the mesh lines of the latest representation.
A second geometry displayer, that shows the outline of the parts.
Like other scenes in Simcenter STAR-CCM+ a mesh scene allows you to remove or add displayers of any kind. You can also change the representation of displayers to visualize the mesh of an imported or remeshed surface. To change the current representation, select the respective displayer of the scene and click on the Representation option in the Properties window. It is recommended to choose the 'Latest Surface/Volume' Representation for most flexibility.
