- Quickparts 의 Board 설정
ODB++파일을 import하면 simulation tree의 Quickparts 하위에 Board 및 import한 component들이 생성됩니다.
Board를 더블 클릭하면 Edit 탭이 생성되면서 PCB 세부설정으로 들어갑니다.
세부설정에서는 이름, 위치 그리고 Physics와 관련된 사항이 설정 가능합니다.
Physics 항목의 하단에 테이블 형태로 구성된 PCB Layer construction에서 각 layer의 정보를 세부적으로 설정할 수있습니다.
설정을 원하는 layer를 클릭하면 그래픽 윈도우에 아래 그림과 같이 해당 layer의 trace pattern, Via hole을 확인할 수 있습니다.
이때 Resolution Scale Factor값을 0 초과 1이하의 값으로 설정할 수 있습니다. 1에 가까울수록 해상도는 높아집니다.
- Thermal Conductivity 확인
Resolution Scale Factor 값을 설정한 해상도에 따라 PCB Pattern의 정보가 변경되어 표시됩니다.
다음표는 각 해상도에 따른 그래픽 표시 및 계산된 thermal conductivity 값의 차이를 나타내는 표입니다.
표와 같이 resolution factor를 변경하여 PCB Pattern의 thermal conductivity를 다르게 적용하여 해석을 할 수 있습니다.
