Details
A custom attribute 'Robot_Manufacturer' is defined under Robot class. On this 'Robot_Manufacturer', the customer defined a list of values with 5 values. When they checked it in the Process Designer, the LOV list is not populating. Under ListOfValues.xml the entry is there for it. <EnumerationField FieldName="Robot_Manufacturer" ClassName="Robot"> Also, they tried on 'supplier' property, which is on 'ToolPrototype' and on that also it is not populating the LOV.
Solution
This issue is Works As Designed, and the recommended practice for visualizing eMS custom LOVs in Process Designer is Table View. In Table View, or (TV) the application utilizes the system root LOV.xml file in conjunction with the database numerical value to display the nice name. In the Properties Viewer we display only the database value (ie 01, 02). In TV, it is recommended to create custom configurations for the different resource library types. This will allow for visualizing the attributes and all like resource types in one view, and not picking through each type individually.
