Summary

Details

When displaying the density of a solid using Measure, it is displayed as 0.0000kg/mm³

Reproduced Steps:
1. Open a new part in mm unit system> create a Block
2. File > Preferences > Measurement... > Measurements > Body tab >Density = ON

3. Menu > Analysis > Measure( select a block solid)
***In Measure dialog, turn on Associative and Display Annotation

Result:

Solution

This behavior is due to a bug occurring in NX 12 and higher, and will be fixed in NX 2506 Series so that it is displayed as 7.8306e-06 kg/mm³.

Notes

This problem only occurs when Associative option is turned on. If this option is turned off, the value is correctly displayed as 7.8306e-06 kg/mm³.

This is simply a display issue and does not affect the mass or other results of the calculation. The density is correctly calculated at 7.8306e-06 kg/mm³.
