Summary

Details

In the drafting, I specified the arrow type of the annotation leader line as "Dot"with Drafting Preference, but when I enter a note with the leader, the arrowhead is not created with the type I specified.

Reproduced Steps:
1. In Drafting, create a note with the leader( Arrowhead = Dot)

2. File > Preferences > Drafting > Common > Line/Arrow > Arrowhead > Leader and Dimension Side 1 = Dot > OK

3. Create a note with the leader

Solution

This behavior is working as designed.
Commands belonging to annotation groups (notes, FCF, etc.) have priority to be created with the values stored in the dialog memory. Therefore, during creation, the last used arrowhead type will be used.

Workaround: If you want to use the arrowhead type set in the drafting preferences, reset the dialog memory when creating.

Notes

The commands in Dimension group always use the arrowhead type set in Drawing Preferences, not in the dialog memory.
