How to export dxf, dwg, step, iges files to other dataset types/custom datasets, from the default image datasets in Teamcenter, using the NX translator.

You can use the "TC_NX_DataExchange_Dataset_Preferences" Teamcenter user preference to define or edit the dataset properties used by NX translators to import from and export to Teamcenter.

Each line must specify a translator and its workflow, extension, dataset type, dataset relation, and named reference type.

The syntax of each translator-specific line should be as follows: 

The parameters used in the syntax are defined as follows:

• TRANSLATOR—Specifies a type of translator, such as DXFDWG, 2DEXCHANGE, PROE, CATIAV4, CATIAV5, STEP, ACIS, or IGES.
• WORKFLOW—Specifies the type of the workflow, such as IMPORT or EXPORT.
• EXT—Specifies a file extension type, such as dxf, dwg, zip, and so on.
• TYPE—Specifies the dataset type. The value is case-sensitive.
• REL—Specifies the dataset relation type. The value is case-sensitive.
• REF_TYPE—Specifies the reference type. The value is case-sensitive.
