Error when trying to get into fixed plane additive manufacturing

When trying to enter additive manufacturing, NX returns the error "You can only enter Fixed Plane Additive Manufacturing with a Fixed Plane Additive Manufacturing part file."

You are not allowed to simply do an application switch from modeling to additive manufacturing, like we can with regular cam.  That will give the above error.  To create an additive job, you must go through File; New; Additive Manufacturing tab and create a setup assembly using one of the build tray templates.
