Dongle for license isn't recognized, Error: Driver cannot load on this device

Cannot start NX with a standalone dongle license:

Program Compatibility Assistant

A Driver Cannot be loaded on this system
Driver: SNTUSB64.SYS
SNTUSB64.SYS

A security setting is preventing this driver from loading, You'll need to Adjust your setting to load this driver.

This happens when in Windows 11 the Memory Integrity Settings are turned on.

Turning this off is not desired. How to get the dongle driver working again?

With the installation of our software we currently ship version 7.6.0 of the sentinel dongle drivers.

This is not compatible with the new Windows 11 Memory Integrity Settings.

For this you would need at least version 7.7.1, which you can download from the suppliers website (Click).

Installation advise:

• Unplug the dongle
• Download the driver and install it
• Plug back in the dongle again, now the light should go on, and stay on.

After installing the newer driver version you should be able to start NX again with your stand-alone license file.
