Solid Edge Failed to return licenses. Error:-63

It is not possible to return a borrowed license file earlier to the license server using the Siemens Licensing Tool.

A message comes up: 

Failed to return licenses. Error:-63

This issue happened in SLS3.2.0 and 4.0.0. 

It does not happened in SLS2.4.0.

This is a known issue.

The license server does not allow early return of borrowed features, the client will see a -63 error and the server will say the early return is not authorized. This will be fixed in a coming server release.

If there is a need to give the license back, a reset can be done by a clear borrow license file.

Customer needs to ask for it in a ticket created in Support Center and it will be shipped out.
