Solid edge embedded client asking to deselect read only option to use engineering reference option.

From Tools -- Engineering Reference --Click Shaft Designer to create shaft it throws message saying that option is set to Open as read only.

To overcome this disable Read Only option from File--Open dialog and click on Save As default and restart Solid Edge session.
