NX and Teamcenter are force closing with no error. They completely close and all work is lost.
This is happening to multiple Users and appears to be random. The log files do not show anything indicating an error. In the Teamcenter server log file repeatedly records "ERROR: 7007 ERROR MSG: Invalid Tag %1$s - the requested object does not exist."
Customer found that this issue was with Java, during the installation process the installer was hanging and eventually thinking it didn't successfully install (hanging for hours to possibly days it appears). This caused it to eventually force uninstall, and since it was installed with a deployment system it had admin access to uninstall itself if it failed, even if it was in use such as by Teamcenter. It was repeatedly uninstalling and reinstalling in random intervals indicated by the Java installation date on installed programs.
Fixing the Java installation issue resolved Teamcenter and NX randomly crashing.
