Solid Edge How to Use Variables With Equation Driven Curve?

In Solid Edge 3D Sketch - under "3D Draw" there is the command "Equation Driven Curve".  In this scenario, the customer wants to use the access to the Variables Table from the dialog box.

However, when they insert a value with a variable, they get a syntax error in the equation.

How to use the values from the Variable Table in the Equation Driven Curve command? 

The variable needs to be placed between square brackets [Var] in order to be inserted properly - this has been the valid syntax from Solid Edge 2022 MP12 onwards.
