Summary

Details

Adding Crosshatch to boundary curves that contains a very small step will fail. Using the "Point in Region" Selection Curve option raises the error "Unable to create crosshatch" and using the "Boundary Curves" Selection Mode option will skip the very small curves in the small step.

Solution

It is recommended to set the “Distance Tolerance” and the "Boundary Curve Tolerance" in the crosshatch dialog to be at least 10 times smaller than smallest length curve so that the tiny curves are selected. If the tolerance is higher or comparable to the length of the smallest curves, then those curves are skipped.
