When using the "Legacy Surface Finish symbol" command and inputting with "material removable prohibited" or "all around symbol" as the type, the shape changes when outputting a TIFF using the plot command.


Reproduced Steps:
1. Opening a drawing that was created using Legacy Surface Finish symbols ("material removable prohibited" or "all around symbol" )
2. File > Plot > Plotter group > Printer = TIFF


3. OK


Solution

This behavior is due to a bug in NX, and siemens is currently working on a fix.


Workaround:
You can work it around by specifying an environment variable UGII_PLOT_OLD_CURVE_BEHAVIOR=1.

Notes

This behavior only occurs when using Legacy Surface Finish symbols, and normal Surface Finish Symbols are output correctly without any problems.
Additionally, the issue only occurs when specifying TIFF, JPEG, EMF, or PNG as the output file type.
