I created a detail view from a revolved section view without clipping the boundary, then I tried to edit it to clip the boundary, but I can't find the option to change that in the settings dialog.
Reproduced Steps:
1. After creating model, create a base and a section view in Drafting
2. File > Preferences > Drafting > Drawing View > Detail > Settings > Boundary Format > Clip Boundary = OFF
3. Home tab > View Group > Section View > create a view by selecting Revolved as Method
4. Home tab > View Group > Detail View > create a view by selecting Circular
5. Select a frame of the detail view > Settings > Detail > Settings
**I cannot find the setting option to select "Clip Boundary" that was displayed in step "2.“
This behavior is working as designed.
Workaround:
If you want to clip, please set "Clip Boundary" to ON in step "2." before creating the detailed view.
Since NX 12, due to a limitation in NX, a detail view that has once been created without clipping its boundary cannot later be edited to be clipped.
Multiple requests for enhancement to make this possible have been registered.
