NX Author Key - Machine Configurator - Access to Password-Protected Files in CCF and MCF

Partner is facing difficulties with customizations in CCF and MCF files and they need Author key to access password-protected sections (Methods/Metacode etc.) for basic controllers.

Where does the Author Key dialog box appear in Machine Configurator (MCF)?

Siemens does not provide the author key or password to anyone, and they do not share the fully unencrypted CCF files. However, if a partner needs a specific Metacode or Method, they can request the individual unencrypted XML code they are seeking. To begin this process, please open a support case.
