Details

User is drawing a sketch in an ordered environment.
He would like to check if the sketch is closed (connected) and where are the unconnected vertex.

Solution

1. Closed Sketch Indicator
You can use the Closed Sketch Indicator command from Inspect > Evaluate > Closed Sketch Indicator
Use the Closed Sketch Indicator command in the sketch environment to indicate that a sketch is geometrically closed. When you select the command, the inside area of the sketch is shaded.

If the profile sketch is not closed the inside area of the sketch will not be shaded. Once you close the sketch the inside area of the sketch will be shaded then the Closed Sketch Indicator command is enabled.

2. Profile Error Assistant

The Profile Error Assistant dialog box for the Draft Environment is the same as for Profile, except for the addition of the Exit control.

It validates any updates you make to the profile. If the updated profile is valid, the dialog box dismisses and you are returned to the next feature creation step. If the updated profile contains errors, the profile error description is refreshed.
