NX Quantity value is rounded off when saved assembly in NX

The assembly structure saved in the Teamcenter structure manager by modifying the UOM of the component and changing the quantity value to a decimal place will be rounded off when saved the respective assembly in NX.

In Teamcenter, you can change the unit of measure of an occurrence in the Structure Manager. This type of change is not supported by NX. The unit of measure in NX will continue to be that of the item.

So modifying the UOM of an component in structure manager, will not be propagated to NX, in NX it still continue to be that of the Item.

To fix this, you need to select the required UOM of the component parts during creating the Item itself.

Now the quantity value will be synced between NX and TC structure manager.
