NX How to configure Effectivity through Teamcenter and load it through NX Assembly Load Options

How to configure Effectivity through Teamcenter and load it through NX Assembly Load Options.

(1) Send the NX assembly to Teamcenter Structure Manager.

(2) Turn on the following column in Structure Manager:  Occurrence Effectivity

(3) Double click in the cell of the Occurrence Effectivity column for the BOM line to assign Occurrence Effectivity.

(4) Click on "Create...".

 End Item = enter the Item ID of the Top Level Assembly.

 Effectivity Range = toggle on "Units" and enter value range for it (1-10) - We're using Units as example here.

OK and Close to close Occurrence Effectivity dialog for that selected component.

(5) Close Structure Manager.

(6) In NX, open the Assembly Load Options dialog, click on "Specify Effectivity" icon.

(7) In the Effectivity dialog:

 Unit = enter a numeric value

 End Item = Item ID of the Top Level Assembly

OK the dialog.

(8) OK the Customer Defaults dialog.

(9) Open the top level assembly into NX.

If value specified in Assembly Load Options is outside the Effectivity Range -

Components will not display (will be suppressed instead):
