NX Export NX data as OBJ dataset to Teamcenter does not create expected dataset type

After configuring the Teamcenter preference for exporting and importing datasets in Teamcenter: TC_NX_DataExchange_Dataset_Preferences

The result of executing the OBJ export is not creating the expected dataset type. It is always creating dataset type of ZIP. Is this working as expected?

Yes, this is working as expected that the resulting dataset type is ZIP. This is due to when an export to TC creates more than one file, the output files are compressed in a ZIP file then uploaded to Teamcenter. Since OBJ export results in multiple files, it follows the mentioned behavior.
