 How to Display a Part in Different Colors Based on the view.

1. In the model file, select a view and set the display to Shaded and select Application-> Drafting.
2. The Sheet dialog will display but cancel this. You’ll still be in drafting just no drawing sheet.
3. Select Menu-> Edit-> View-> View Dependent Edit.
4. Select  ‘Edit Shaded Objects’ and select the Solid body.  You can set the Type filter to Solid Body if needed.

• Select a new color under ‘Shade Edits’ and OK. The new solid body color will be view dependent to this specific view.
• Select Application -> Modeling, switch to a new view and repeat steps 1-5 to make the solid body a new color in a different view.
