Solid Edge Display Issue with Solid Edge Showing Parts in Black or White Colors

Users have reported an issue where parts in assemblies opened with Solid Edge are displayed in either black or white colors instead of their expected colors. This issue appears consistently on specific workstations despite updates to Solid Edge and graphics drivers.

Regarding the issue being reported, this is working as designed.

There is a user preference under View -> Color Manager to either use the Solid Edge color settings or the individual part style colors.

The user has selected the “Use Solid Edge Options color settings” which will display inactivate occurrences in the default color of grey:

Simply toggle this user setting to “Use individual part styles”.

The last selected setting will remain the default setting until the user changes the settings again.
