Solid Edge Distributing Solid Edge Fonts for AutoCAD Compatibility

Users have inquired about distributing Solid Edge fonts from "C:\Windows\Fonts" to third parties for opening AutoCAD files converted from Solid Edge Draft files. These AutoCAD files contain Solid Edge fonts embedded within the DWG files.

It is permissible to redistribute the Solid Edge fonts to facilitate compatibility with AutoCAD files delivered from our company. The Solid Edge fonts necessary for viewing AutoCAD files are included separately on the Solid Edge DVD install media.

This allows for easy access and redistribution as needed to support data transfers and interoperability between Solid Edge and AutoCAD platforms.
