Solid Edge Incorrect Symbols or Icons Displayed in Solid Edge Toolbars

Customers have reported seeing incorrect symbols/icons in their application's toolbar, as illustrated in the attached screenshot. This issue affects multiple users.

The issue occurs due to the "Untrusted Font Blocking" security setting first introduced in Windows 10. This setting, initially recommended by Microsoft, is designed to prevent the display of fonts deemed untrusted by the operating system. To resolve the incorrect symbol display issue, follow these steps to disable the "Untrusted Font Blocking" setting:

Access Windows Security Settings:

• Open the Windows Settings by pressing Win + I.

Navigate to Update & Security > Windows Security > App & Browser Control.

Disable Untrusted Font Blocking:

• Under Exploit protection settings, click on Exploit protection settings link.

• Go to Program settings and choose Microsoft Solid Edge from the list.

• Expand Font Settings and disable Use untrusted font blocking.

Save Changes:

Restart Your System:
