Summary

Details

There is a PMI note that was created with "Display Parallel to Screen" set to ON. When exporting this data to 3D PDF and check it in Acrobat Reader, it is not displayed parallel to the screen.

Reproduced Steps:

1. Create PMI Note (Display Parallel to Screen)

2. File > Preferences > PMI > PMI General/Setup > Parallel to Screen > Orientation > Display Parallel to Screen = ON

3. PMI tab > Publish > Technical Data Package tab > Templates > Method > 3D PDF > select any template listed in template selection window > OK

4. Open the PDF in Acrobat Reader( and rotate the view)

Solution

This behavior is working as designed in NX and is caused by "Display Parallel to Screen“ = ON not being supported.

The function is enhanced/implemented to support this in NX 2406.

Notes

Note: NX 2406 supports the "Display Parallel to Screen, but does not support "Lock Size and Position".
