Summary

Details

The customer reported an issue where new fonts installed in the draft environment are not displaying correctly when converting the draft into a PDF file. The customer provided an example draft and the fonts for reference.

Solution

Upon investigation, it was determined that the issue is caused by a Restricted License on the provided fonts.

Solid Edge does not allow the embedding of fonts with a Restricted License into PDF files. It is important to note that using a different software, such as Word, to embed the fonts into a PDF file would be a violation of the licensing agreement for the font.

To resolve this issue, the customer has two options. They can either find a font with a less restrictive licensing type or they can contact the author of the font to request a change in the license restriction.
