NX What are the Home Position values for in post configurator?

What are these Home Position fields used for?

These simply store a home location in dedicated mom variables.  As noted in the screenshot, this is an array variable called mom_sys_home_pos_metric in a metric post.  In an inch post, this variable would be named mom_sys_home_pos_inch.

This point can be output from a Go Home option in a operation, or used by the post for any automatic moves needed, such as a safe home position before a tool change is executed. You can enter any values you want here without affecting machine code or kinematics.
