Solid Edge Some Subassemblies, Parts, Bodies Missing in STEP Export

In this example, after exporting a large Solid Edge assembly, some subassemblies, parts, and bodies are missing in the resulting STEP file.

This is not a validated solution for every use case, but will work in some instances:

1)  Open the Solid Edge assembly to be exported.
2) "Activate" all.
3) "Show all".
4) "Save as Translated".
5) In Options for STEP export, use the option "Export displayed only".  To make sure that exported STEP is exactly the same as that shown on screen, set "Part and Assembly Simplification" to "Use Current Configuration".
