Summary

Details

When moving a sketch using the mouse operation in Drafting environment, an error "evcrvu.c: Unknown curve type" occurs and the move operation is interrupted.

Reproduced Steps:

1. After creating a new part, create a new drawing by referring to that part (non-master part)

2. After placing any view, create a sketch (straight line or etc.) with new sketch solver

3.After setting "Within Active Sketch Only" as Selection filter, move the created sketch by dragging the mouse.

Solution

This behavior is due to NX problem that has occurred since NX 2306 and is fixed in NX 2412.

Workaround: Use Selection filter other than "Within Active Sketch Only"

Notes

This is a problem that occurs with new sketch solver but does not occur with legacy sketch.

The problem only occurs when working with Non-master part and setting Selection filter to "Within Active Sketch Only".
