NX Unable to use the Select Similar Faces function

When the user tries to use the Select Similar Faces function, NX returns an error about a missing license:

License Error, The check out of a feature failed because its token feature does not exist.

Recent versions of NX have added some powerful smart selection tools for manufacturing.  These new selection functions do require additional licenses:

- nx_ml_region_finder 

When "Select Similar Faces" command is used, "nx_ml_region_finder" is consumed. Menu > Edit > Selection > Select Similar Faces This command available on NX 2206 and later.

- nx_ml_sel_pred_std 

If "nx_ml_sel_pred_std" is available, When selecting an object "Selection Prediction Options" appears in Scene Bar. For example; When an edge is selected with Edge Blend command. If "nx_ml_sel_pred_std" is unavailable, "Selection Prediction Options" does not appear in Scene Bar.

- nx_ml_show_hide 

When "Select Similar Components" command is used, "nx_ml_show_hide" is consumed. Menu > Edit > Selection > Select Similar Components

In this case, if the license feature "nx_ml_region_finder" is not listed in your license, you cannot use the "Select Similar Face" functionality.  Please contact your Siemens sales representative for information on adding this to the site license file.
