1. Start TC 2312.
2. Start NX 2312 from Teamcenter.
3. Create a part and save it.
4. Ensure customer default "Save As New Item Type" is enabled.
5. Exit NX and TC
6. Restart TC and NX.
7. Open the part.
8. Select "Save as New Item Type.
Error occurs.
As a Workaround, Create Teamcenter preference "EnableNXPartManufacturingItemVisibility" with value as False as shown below
