NX Open an assembly and turn it into a single part with multiple bodies.

A design was built as an assembly and you just need a single part file with multiple Solid bodies.

Export the component bodies out of the assembly as a Parasolid file, then import the Parasolid file into a new part.

For example, an Assembly with 64 components with multiple levels.

File -->  Export -->  Parasolid --> Specify the Parasolid file name and location --> select by Rectangle around all of the component bodies -->  toggle “ON” Flatten Assembly -->  OK

Create a New NX part, then use File --> Import -->  Parasolid --> Browse to the Parasolid file that was exported -->  toggle “ON” Flatten Assembly --> OK

Open the Part Navigator and it will have multiple Unparameterized bodies.
