NX Unable to generate shell on spheroid shape

When trying to generate a shell after creating a solid shape using Revolve command for an ellipse created with a sketch, an alert saying "Preview could not be completed." is output. In addition, even if running the command with "Preview" turned OFF, the error "Cannot apply shell." is output and the shell cannot be generated.

Reproduced Steps:

1. Create a sketch section for rotation

2. Perform Revolve ( Start Angle = 0, End Angle = 180)

3. Perform Shell with Open option

Performing the command with Preview = OFF:

This behavior is due to NX problem and will be fixed in NX 2406.

Workaround : create the solid with End Angle = 360 > generate Shell with “Closed” > using Trim Body, Split Body or etc.

The problem occurs only when creating a revolve solid from an ellipse section at the angle = 0 - 180.
