NX Creating non-master model manufacturing templates for File New

Customer site would like to have single-level or non-master model templates available in the manufacturing pax file for the File New process.

This is not supported.  The File New process for manufacturing is designed to use an automatic component replacement function in a template assembly.  Use of a non-master template file will break that process and result in a 'Part is not currently loaded' error message.

Any pax file entries for manufacturing require an assembly template prt file using the master model concept so that the dummy component in that template assembly can be swapped for the specified reference part to go into the new setup assembly.

The only supported option for a single level manufacturing template is the 'blank' file option. This is turned on/off by customer default. It is not visible or customizable in the pax file, and the customer default enables this blank template for all File New tabs, not just for a selected tab, such as manufacturing.
