What is the Deburring Width and the Contact Height for 3 Axis Deburring defining?
SolutionThe Deburring Width is the measured width of the length opposite the corner (90 degree angle) as shown below.
The Contact Height is a "percentage" (not a value of length of depth). It is measured 0-1 of the Tool Tip to the Tool Shoulder as shown below.
Above are two examples showing 8% up the tool, and 95% up the tool. NOT inch or mm units. The extra trailing zero here in the illustrations can cause it to be misleading.
