NX for Design

Summary

Details

"Model" reference set contains the product's shape data, and "REFERENCE_SET1" contains the sheet body shape data used to cut the product. If you compare the JT data output with "Export JT" and the JT data created when saving the part, the shapes are different.

Reproduced Steps:

1. Preparing two reference sets and creating the model

2. File > Save > Save Options... > Save JT Data

3. File > Save > Save

4. File > Export > JT... > specify an output file > OK

Solution

The behavior is working as designed.

“Export JT” : The situation currently displayed on NX is output.

JT created when part is saved : Depends on a parameter specified "useRefsets =xxx" in tessUG.config file. (Please check the “useRefsets” option set in UGII_BASE_DIR\PVTRANS\tessUG.config. The initial value is “DEFAULT”. In this case, only the data contained in "MODEL" reference set is output.)

Notes

Refer to the option “useRefsets” in “JT configuration file—ugconfig section” :
