Solid Edge Unable to create blank body in Solid Edge 2023

In this example, a customer is unable to create a "Blank Body" from a simple Sheet Metal part - they get a failing with error message.

An invalid path - or having insufficient rights - may have an impact on "Blank Body":
The first thing to check is whether there is a valid temporary path (in "Solid Edge Settings" -> "Options" - "File Location"):
Please make sure that "NX Nastran scratch folder" exists and that the user has enough rights for writing.

If this does not resolve the issue, there are additional steps which can be tried:

1. Start Solid Edge as administrator.
2. Create a simulation study of a simple part in order to create a mesh.
3. The mesh window will prompt to change the mesh size and create the mesh.
4. Accept the mesh for it to be created.
5. Close Solid Edge.
6. Open solid Edge again without admin rights.
7. You should be able to create the blank body now.
