When creating an offset curve in Sketch environment in Drafting, if using "Symmetric Offset'' option, an internal error occurs when trying to exit the sketch.
Reproduced Steps:
1. Set legacy sketch in Early Access Feature (For NX 2007 Series, set "Use the new solver and UI for sketching" = Off.)
2. Preparation of the NX part (Create one cross section profile containing one spline geometry and use Extrude command to create a solid body)
3. Create a base view in the drafting environment
4. Create an offset curve using the created view as the "Active Sketch View“
Select a Base View > Mouse right click > “Active Sketch View” > “ Offset Curve”(using “Symmetric Offset” option when offsetting)
5. Finish Sketch
This issue is due to NX problem that has been occurring since NX 1953 Series, and has been fixed in NX 2212 Series.
Also this fix has been backported to NX 2206 (NX 2206.7000) and NX 2007 (NX 2027.4000) Series.
Workaround : Do not use the “Symmetric Offset" option and perform the offset twice, inside and outside.
NotesThis issue only occurs when splines other than the active sketch is offset, and when offset, "Symmetric Offset" option is used.
Also, this only occurs in legacy sketch, not in new sketch.
Although I have explained the issue in Drafting environment as an example, the same issue occurs in modeling sketch.
