Solid Edge Unable to create cutout from Text Profile - disjoint body error message

In this example, the user has created a sheet metal part.  They then create a 2D sketch and define a Text Profile.

They try and use the text profile to do a Cutout feature.  However, they get an error message:

You used to be able to do this prior to Solid Edge 2022.  Why is it no longer possible?

This behavior is intentional since Solid Edge 2022.  We no longer support disjoint bodies in Sheet Metal as they can create diverse issues, including Flat Pattern failures.  Disjoint bodies are those which have effectively been separated from the sheet metal body.

However, we still allow users to create disjoint bodies in the Flatten environment if that would help their design, as may be the case with text profiles.
