Have a draft template that cannot delete the attribute 'Document Status'. Can remove it but it comes back next time Properties dialog is opened. It gives the following error:
A file property already exists with the same name as the custom file property you have added, named Document Status. Solid Edge may not be able to keep in sync with Teamcenter.
The custom file attribute is linked internally to the native Solid Edge file property with an internal name of "Status". So in essence you have 2 properties (attributes) referencing the same internal Property ID for Status: The hard coded file property and your added custom property. Please note to resolve this issue use native Solid Edge....
To resolve this specific case, use the OS to access the file properties and remove the custom property.* Copy the template to the desktop.
* If not closed, then close Solid Edge. Re-open Solid Edge BUT do not open a file. Do not login to TC, just stay in native Solid Edge.
* Via Windows File explorer navigate to the template file on the desktop
* Right click and select properties. You should see the custom tab...
* locate the Status property, click Remove, then click Apply.
* Close Solid Edge.
* ON your Solid Edge client via file explorer go to your SEEC cache, find and remove the template folder
* Replace the template in TC -> named reference or whatever method you wish to use.
