Summary

Details

After setting the text font to "kanji", when displaying the volume and area of a solid using Measure command, superscript strings such as ㎣ and ㎟ are displayed as "□".

Reproduced Steps:

1. Set the text font of Lettering to NX fonts such as "kanji" in PMI or drawing settings

2. Menu > Analysis > Measure(Check “Display Annotation” ON to create the annotation)

Solution

This behavior is due to a design limitation of NX. Entering superscript strings in NX fonts is currently not supported.

Workaround: Perform one of the followings

1. Using Windows Standard font

2. Using NX fonts

Use a control character “<H>” (Select a measurement dimension > Edit)
