NX How to import/migrate the custom native table/Parts list palette templates to Teamcenter

How to import/migrate the custom native table/Parts list palette templates to Teamcenter.

While loading the Table/Parts list templates from the palette in Teamcenter integrated NX, getting below error message.

  You need to use the table pax file "tables_tceng.pax" to maintain table palette templates in Teamcenter integrated NX environment, which is located at the below NX installation location.

<NX installation Location>\UGII\table_files

First, you need to import all your custom *.prt template parts to Teamcenter.

Make sure that you have imported the parts in Infodba Home folder, so that all the users can access these part files.

Now modify the default table *.pax file "tables-tceng.pax" to add the entry of these new imported table template part files from the Teamcenter.

After importing the parts, modify your *.pax file (tables-tceng.pax) and edit the part location to that of Teamcenter.

Like if your imported part has an item id as "template/A", then modify it's location as "@DB/template/A".

You can use below environment variable to customize the location of the pax files.

UGII_TABLE_TEMPLATES=<Custom Location>

Now you need to select the *.pax file located at the above location inside NX Palettes to load these templates inside NX.
