NX Enabling the UDE Editor in an existing post

An existing post processor does not have the “create new machine control event” ability.  Can this be turned on, or do you have to start a new post to enable this function?

We can turn on the UDE editor (the Create New Machine Control Event... option) in any post.  Before opening the post, go to the main Post Builder menu Options; Enable UDE Editor; Yes.  Then when the post is opened, that option will be available in the Machine Control events list.  This option overrides the condition set when the post was created or last saved.
