NX Visualization Preferences related to Smooth Edges are lost

After changing various settings related to "Smooth Edge" from "Visualization Preferences" in Modeling environment, moving to Pre/Post environment and getting back to Modeling, the preferences return to the initial values.

Reproduced Steps:

1. In Modeling, File > Preferences > Visualization...

2. Rendering node > Smooth Edges

3. e.g., change the value of Line Style, Line Width and Angle Tolerance

4. Move to Pre/Post environment

5. Get back to Modeling

6. Confirm the preferences with performing Step1 and Step2

The behavior is due to NX problem and has been fixed in NX 2306 Series.

Workaround:

There is no effective workaround, and there is no other way than to re-set it in Modeling environment.

Conditions for problem occurrence

- NX Series: NX 1926 and higher

- Environment : Switching the environment to Pre/Post, Motion or Design from Modeling

- Preferences : Visualization Preferences > Rendering node> Smooth Edges and Style
