NX How to disable embedded Active Workspace and enable Active Workspace from NX in new external browser?

Currently the default behavior is Active Workspace is embedded within NX on the resource bar. What is the configuration needed to enable Active Workspace to launch from NX in a new external browser?

Set the following Customer Defaults to enable Active Workspace to launch from NX in a new external browser:

Customer Defaults > Teamcenter Integration > General > Active Workspace tab:

Hosting Location = Application Connect

Application Connect = Open Browser Automatically toggle ON

Note: If Open Browser Automatically setting is toggled Off in Customer Defaults such that AW browser does not automatically launch, see KB article below on how to launch AW in external browser in that situation:
