NX Supported Headsets for use with NX Virtual Reality (NX VR)

Which Head mounted displays (HMD) / Headsets are supported for use with NX Virtual Reality (NX VR)?

In the NX documentation section "NX VR requirements and setup" there are some details about some headsets supported for use with NX VR

However, due to the large number of VR headsets available (each with different controller configuration) and new ones being launched all the time, we cannot maintain a complete list of all the headsets we support or have tested in the documentation.

As of August 2023 this is the support situation with commonly used headsets:

• HTC Vive – We support the Vive Pro line only, not Elite, Focus etc. Of the Vive Pro line, we’ve tested the original Vive and Vive Pro extensively and some limited testing with Vive Pro 2 (the latest model)

• HP Reverb G1 and G2 - Supported and tested with Windows Mixed Reality

• Oculus Rift, Quest and Meta Quest 2 - Supported and tested with Steam VR using Oculus Link Cable, not Air Link. 

Other headsets might work with NX VR, but support will be limited and some control options may not function as expected.
