NX Importing STEP file also loads Layer Categories

When importing STEP AP203 (or AP214) file, Layer Category information is also imported at the same time. Is there any settings not to import the layer category information?

Reproduced Steps:

1. File > Export > STEP(select AP203 or AP214)

2. File > New( select Blank template)

3. File > Import > STEP203( or STEP214)

*** In the steps above, Import > STEP command is explained as an example, but the same phenomenon occurs even if directly opening the STEP file by File > Open > STEP for the output STEP file.

The behavior is working as designed.

This is because the layer category is defined in the template part used to import or open the STEP file to NX.

Workaround:

The following example is a template part of the unit system = mm. By deleting the layer category defined in the part, you can prevent it from being imported.

% UGII_BASE_DIR%\STEP203UG\step203ugnull_mm

% UGII_BASE_DIR%\STEP214UG\step214ugnull_mm

Layer category information had not defined in the template part until NX 1953 Series, but it has newly defined since NX 1980 Series.
