While adding PTS part to assembly below error occurs and it cannot be added.

Product Template Error :

"The new template is not visible after loading the components and PTS cannot continue.

One cause could be using Component Groups to load the assembly.

Try changing the load options."

Solution

This error occurs if in the PTS part the Reference Sets for the template is set to Empty.

To resolve this error, in the PTS application > Configure dialog > select Main Dialog in Interface group > in Properties group > Dialog Initialization > Reference Sets.

Set the Default to any Reference Set than Empty.

Save the PTS part.

Now the error will not occur when you add the PTS part to assembly.
