NX How to modify line width for custom symbol when export PDF

After exporting pdf of custom symbol, sometimes the line width does not have the same thickness as it is in NX, why?

Solution

To verify the real line width of a custom symbol, you would need to smash the symbol and then you can modify it.

1)    Select the symbol ->RM ->Smash

2)    Information -> Object -> select the curves -> you would see:


.70 was the original width before view dependently edited, so you can edit the width as below:

 Select the sheet from PNT -> RM -> View Dependent Edit -> Add Edits -> Edit Entire Object-> Set Line width to .13 -> Apply -> Rectangle select -> OK

Alternatively, you can also turn off "Show Width" from Preferences, Visualization -> Color/Font ->Drawing and Layout Part Settings if you wish not to display objects' widths, and without smashing the custom symbol.
