How to Perform a lmreread from a client machine?

Step 1.  Start ‘LMTOOLS’ via; ‘Start – All Programs – Siemens license server– lmtools’ .

Step 2.  On the Start/Stop/Reread File tab, Click the “Edit Advanced Settings” , Ensure that “Restrict lmdown to work only from node where lmgrd is running “ is unchecked and click [Save Advanced settings] button.

Step 3. Open CMD with Admin privileges on Client Machine.

Step 4:  Execute the Command as “lmutil.exe lmreread -c 28000/29000@****** (Server name).

Note: Ensure the lmutil.exe should be same version.
